![]() Fernhill Youth Project is located at 66 Fernhill Road, Rutherglen. The project is run entirely by volunteers Paul, Kathleen, Clare, Barry, Dawn, Courtney and Danielle who are all parents and young people from the area. The project came to be when local people came together to make a difference to young people in their community. Through constant hard work and dedication they were able to secure funding from Regen:fx to renovate a community flat into a purpose built youth internet facility called Fernhill Hyper Cyber which now attracts over 100 young people per week.Activities include: • Health and Beauty • Music Lessons (Guitar) • Drop-ins • Arts and Crafts • Wii Tournies • Playstation 3 Tournies • Mac computers with internet • Music • Animation and Film • Sports • Trips and Visits The project runs from Monday to Thursday at the time below: Monday 4-10pm: Seniors group (13-17 years) Tuesday 6-8pm: Junior group (8-12years) Wednesday 6-9pm: Guitar lessons Thursday 4-10pm: Seniors group For more information just drop into the centre whenever we’re open. |
