Regen:fx Youth Trust has again managed to develop, deliver and sustain additional youth diversion activities with decreasing funding and resources available. Overall the programme has benefited 10,690 young people throughout South Lanarkshire of which 8390 young people live in regeneration areas.
Even with reduced resources the Trust has managed to not only achieve their targets but also exceed them to a significant degree. This is testimony to the level of commitment and hard work demonstrated by volunteers, staff and partners throughout the year.
Like most organisations in today’s economic climate attracting external funders to invest in the work of the Trust is vital to the sustainability of our activities. Regenfx successfully attracted additional funds of over £200,000 for new projects like the Youth Work Training Academy, The Street and Tackling Alcohol & Drug Misuse.
